Bloss is an artist from the Arcadia Valley in Central Queensland. The beauty of the sandstone belt, her passion for the land and the Trees are her muses. Bloss has been the instigation of this exhibition and the majority of the works are hers. The purpose of her art is to speak for the Trees.

‘Dawn Call’
Acrylic on canvas Trees are the fastest solution to Global Warming. Carbon enters the cycle of life as Carbon Dioxide (CO2) through photosynthesis on the stomates of leaves. Photosynthesis is: Powered by sunlight, CO2, water (H2O) & the chlorophyll in the leaves, form sugars. 6CO2 + 6H2O + chlorophyll = C6H12O6 (sugar) Insects and animals eat the plants and carbon builds on carbon. Carbon is stored in the cell walls of living plants and animals. Trees sequester and store carbon as they grow. Because of their size and solidness, they can store a lot of carbon relatively quickly. |

A team studied subtle energy grids across Britain and wrote a book about it, The Sun and the Serpent. Soil and Plants have evolved together. The first living organism was cynobacteria and over 500 million years life evolved to the wondrous wild world we know. The relationship between Trees and Fungi have allowed our natural world to be so rich and complex. When you remove the Trees from the landscape you will loose the Fungi in the soil and you soil will deplete and that world will collapse.
